Study Writing for Film, Television & Games in Vancouver, Canada
Vancouver Film School (VFS) and the Monterrey International Film Festival (ficmonterrey) have partnered to offer Latin American students the opportunity to earn a full-tuition scholarship to study Writing for Film, Television & Games at VFS.
Scholarship open date: August 26, 2022
Application deadline: October 30, 2022 at 8 p.m. PST
Winner announcement: November 15, 2022
*Applicants must be Latin American and be at least 19 years of age or have graduated high school at the time of application.
*Individuals who have applied to previous ficmonterrey Scholarships in the past 4 years are NOT eligible to reapply.
Scholarship Details
VFS is excited to offer the following scholarships to the most deserving applicants:
- One (1) full-tuition scholarship for VFS’s Writing for Film, Television & Games program (12 months)
- Two (2) partial-tuition scholarships (50%) for VFS’s Writing for Film, Television & Games program (12 months)
*The 2022 ficmonterrey Scholarship must be applied towards program tuition at VFS and has no redeemable cash value.
*Scholarships are valid only for the following start dates at VFS: May 1, 2023 OR August 28, 2023.
